Allreaders.com
http://www.allreaders.com/
An interesting site with genre sub--stes including speculative fiction, mysteries, literature, romance, biography and history. Once you choose a genre you can choose elements of plot, setting, character, etc. that you would like to see in a book, and then you are given a list of recommendations. Sometimes tricky to navigate-the search capabilities are in the "Detailed Search" links. All recommended titles are linked to reviews which include tone, age level, themes and more. You can also choose a book by author, and find similar titles.
