Re:       Revised Board Bylaws Recommendation 

 

Recommended for approval the following revisions to the Board Bylaws:

 

Article II, Section 6: Attendance at meetings is essential for the welfare of the library.  If a Trustee is not able to attend a scheduled meeting, the chairman of the board must be notified.  After the second unexcused absence, the chairman of the board will contact the director Trustee involved for clarity. After three unexcused absences, the chairman of the board will bring the matter to the attention of the board mayor during each annual year of the term .
