The
Rapid City Public Library is preparing for National Card Sign-Up Month this
September; the theme of which will be “Going Green: Sign Up, Switch and Save”. This promotion will highlight the Rapid City
Public Library’s use of electronic resources such as our e-newsletters, e-notices
and online library card registration. The RCPL Knowledge Network will emphasize
the City’s recent discussions of Green Spaces.
Our goal for the month is 800 new card sign-ups/renewals which would
equate to a 30% increase when compared to the monthly average.
The
library also plans to have a contest specifically for General Beadle Elementary
School where one student with an RCPL North library card is chosen in a drawing
for a refurbished bike from Yellow Bike. We would like to invite you to participate by
presenting the prize to the lucky student.
Your
participation would enhance our marketing plans to increase community involvement
with “Going Green: Sign Up, Switch and Save.”
