BOARD OF TRUSTEES
ADMINISTRATION
Community, Governmental and Interlibrary Relations: The annual library program
planning meeting that included staff input drafted the Sept. to May programming
calendar. G. Chapman met with Foundation Board members and donor Ray Graham for
a tour of the space use plan. Mr. Graham donated $100,000 to the project and was
pleased with the results to date. The final phase is an office remodel that
will become a public lobby reception. G. Chapman is preparing for the final
SDLA Board Officer meeting during the annual conference in the last week of
September as her three year term. Three city budget hearings have been held
with adoption due legally by September 30. Upon adoption the Board Finance
Committee shall have a final report for the next Library Board meeting. No
changes have happened from the August Board report. Foundation Board
recruitment continues with a report update in the Board agenda.

review the contract and staff will confirm funding within the Board’s motion of
the designated amount. The acoustics contract is being drafted with the
architect in conjunction with the city attorney’s office.
