  • An RCPL Foundation Board recruitment kit and letter has been developed as a means of obtaining new officers for the Board. A number of individuals were consulted that provided a list of potential officers that are currently being contacted. Once obtained, the three officers would be the Foundation Executive Board for approval by the existing Foundation Board members. Reports will be provided to the Trustees for the completion of the appointments.

Mr. Brink will be seeking other career opportunities perhaps returning to his technology programming interests and Ms. Braunstein will be returning to her previous Library Associate position while continuing in program planning given her success over recent months.
    • Jim Soehle was an employee of the City Information Technology Division assigned to the library and submitted his resignation with a move into semi-retirement.
  • Organizational needs are always assessed when vacancies occur. Staff input was gathered from the chart and memo attached that explains the reassignments. The staff’s response was agreeable to the reassignments.
