As patrons’ use of the library continues to evolve, the library strives to ensure that our services are relevant to patrons’ ever-evolving information needs. To address these needs, the 2008 Staff Training Calendar is focused on timely information sessions for emerging social networking services or other library programs and resources, in order to promote those resources to the public.
The 2008 training calendar also outlines a plan for online archiving of training sessions, to allow for archival access by staff not able to attend a scheduled session, and to allow for repeated review by any staff member at a later date.
