It has come to our attention that the numbers in the IFAS Reports (monthly budget reports) do not match the 2008 approved budget numbers. There is a discrepancy in the bottom line of $24,700 higher in the IFAS reports than what was approved.
The Finance office has explained that there were automatic encumbrances made in the amount of $15,346 at the end of 2007 into the 2008 budget for open invoices. This explains a portion of the discrepancy. It has been requested of Finance to continue to research the situation for the remaining$9,345.
