This letter is to inform you of the ratification vote held on December 16^th by library union members. It was a unanimous vote of members who voted to support the contract agreement between the City of Rapid City and AFSCME Local #1031. We are pleased to accept the terms for a four year contract beginning January 1, 2006 and ending December 31, 2009.

I would like to thank you and all the city team members who participated in the long process. I look forward to working with you for the betterment of all city employees in the future.
