The Library has been focusing on finalizing the close-out of the 2005 budget with the City Finance office. From 2005 funding, the Library has encumbered $39,900 for the commercial carpet replacement contract with Flooring America. Additionally, the request for supplemental appropriation of $20,000 in funding for the Acoustics Remediation Project has been submitted. This will also come from year-end 2005. Both of these items will be reflected on the Financial Statement which should be completed by the end of February.
We have also begun the planning process for our 2007-09 City Budget as well as finalizing our 2006 Draft County Budget for Board approval.
