Re: Change in Work Week
Recommendation: Change the payroll schedule and work week to Monday – Sunday instead of Sunday – Saturday.
Background: The purpose of the change is to give staff more consecutive two days off on Saturday and Sunday. In order for this to happen, both weekend days must be in the same week.
- This change necessitates a change in the current Union Contract which states the pay period is from Saturday to Sunday.
- The
revised Union Contract language has verbally been agreed upon. Final approval is waiting on the signing
of a Memorandum
of Understanding between
