Dorothy Liegl, Colleen Smith-Huron Public and Greta Chapman, Rapid City Public are excited to announce a kick-off meeting on the Digitization of South Dakota Newspapers Project for this coming Wednesday, March 2, 2:00 – 3:00 MT and 3:00 – 4:00 CT. 18 people are confirmed as they had previously expressed interest in participating in the project. The meeting is open to all interested people and we are hoping more will be able to attend. There has been a challenge in getting sites set up so apologies for a short notice. There will be other opportunities but it is important to get up and started on this given approaching deadlines for funding resources. Any questions please let me, Dorothy or Colleen know. Hope to see you at the meeting!
