HOURS OF WORK:

9.01          This article is intended to define the normal hours

of work and shall not be construed as a guarantee of hours of work

per day, or days of work per week.

9.02          The normal work day shall be eight (8) consecutive

hours of work, except for rest periods, meal periods, and program

dictates.

9.03          The work week shall be Sunday through Saturday.

All regular days off shall be two (2) consecutive days, except upon

mutual consent of the employee and the Library; however, the

consecutive days off may be in different work weeks.  This shall

not apply to permanent, part-time personnel or for those employees

who are scheduled in the weekend rotation.
