Re: Adjunct Faculty

This memo is to inform the Board of an adjunct faculty position that I have accepted for the 2005 Summer Session with Emporia State University, Emporia Kansas. This is an online instructional class with two weekends, June 10 -12 and August 5 - 7 at the distance education site in Denver. This is a graduate level master’s degree class on Community Assessment for Planning Library Services.

This is an exciting opportunity for me in challenging my thinking about library services and sharing of my experience. I am a 1996 graduate of ESU and attended distance education classes along with two summer semesters in Kansas. I also have a B.A. in teaching and enjoy the classroom experience. My time will be scheduled accordingly for my primary responsibility as library director. If you should comments or questions this is an agenda item at the Board meeting.
