DearReader.com is an online book club service we have had on trial for the past year. Patrons are able to sign up for book clubs based on various themes: Mystery, Non-Fiction, Audio books, etc. Each day, the patron will receive one 3-5 minute section of a book, up to the first three chapters of the book over a week. The patron may discuss the book in the online forums with other patrons, and if they wish to read the entire book, may ask for it at the library. |
