Rapid City Public Library presented 187 computer classes to patrons during 2004. Total attendance for
those classes was 481. The classes

Patrons were also asked to comment on the class and to
make suggestions for future classes. Comments from patrons were generally
very favorable. Most just wanted advanced classes in the same areas.
|

|
The most common constructive comment indicated that
patrons wanted longer sessions or more time, particularly with the basic
class. As a result, the basic class has been split into two sessions, Basic I
and Basic II, each one hour long and given on successive days. The other
classes remain the same.
|
|
|
|
As in the past, we continue to draw patrons beyond the age
of 40 to our classes and the female to male ratio is approximately 2:1.
