Action needed: Approve a resolution to void three checks totaling $92.87 in the process of balancing the Board Funds and moving to the City Finance Department.
There are three checks that were issued to customers during
2003 that have not been cashed. The
checks total $92.87. The Business Office
staff has tried to contact the customers to re-issue the unclaimed checks
without success. Per state law, the
Library is required to turn those funds over to the State of
In order for the final phase of this process to be completed, the Library must receive RCPL Board of Trustee approval through resolution to void the checks. The check detail is as follows:
