Re: November 2005
Statistics Narrative
Because November is the start of the holiday season and
patrons are busy with other activities, the library normally experiences a drop
in both circulation and patron contacts compared to the previous month of
October.
- The
entry count is stable.
- Computer
use continues to be up in both departments due to the addition of new
computers as part of the goals in the Strategic Plan.
- Circulation
and patron contacts are down for Reference and Youth Services related to the
annual drop from October to November.
- Programs
are on track. Attendance is up in adult programs due to a popular Lunch
and Learn program and the Poets’ Coffeehouse. Attendance is down in Youth
Services in comparison to the numbers who attended October’s Get Real Loud
program.
- Volunteer
numbers are stable.
- We are
10% above our average for materials added this month.
