Instructions
Welcome to the Rapid City Public Library's site to commemorate the 1972 flood. We hope you will participate in this digital archive by sharing your memories or photos of those days in June of 1972.

By now, most of you are familiar with the idea of going online to find information. But some of you will be new to the concept of adding your own information for others to view and learn from. The Rapid City Public Library has made it possible for you to do this, using an online tool called a "Wiki".

A Wiki is a collaborative website where people can not only view information, but add and edit information as well. We invite you to go to our Rapid City Flood Wiki (rcflood.wikispaces.com). There we've created pages where you can add your memories or family stories and photos. Directions on how to do that are available there. We look forward to seeing your contributions and thank you for your participation.
