The Rapid City Public Library and Mayor Alan Hanks invite you to sign up for a library card in September! A library card is ALWAYS a good value but in September, 2008, it's even better. Get in on these great incentives: 1. PRIZES! Sign up for a library card and you'll be entered into a drawing for two great prizes: an i-Book computer, donated by Computer Village and an autographed hockey stick, donated by the new Rapid City Rush hockey team. Prizes will be awarded by the Mayor.

2. FINES FORGIVENESS WEEK! Sept. 8 - Sept. 14 Get a Fresh Start @ Your Library Fines Forgiveness Week was a tremendous sucess with 2,377 pounds of food donated in seven days. From RCPL director Greta Chapman (pictured right - with a portion of the total donations) and the RCPL staff, we say "thanks a ton - and then some!" to all who participated. Donations benefit the Black Hills Food Bank!
